Just as I do with my mini tasks on a Friday and a Sunday asking you to plan your weekend and week ahead, today I want to increase the scope slightly to encompass, your diet goals as a whole. For instance are you currently making improvements to the diet planning you have in your house as a whole to ensure not only a healthy lifestyle for your family but are you also nurturing the setting for your own refeed and healthy life style once your goals have been achieved on the plan. Don’t forget your comments below put you into the draw tomorrow!

Today’s Task:(Woohoo Prize Draw Tomorrow!!!)

The above example is just one big picture example of a change that you can be implementing to ensure the overall success of your weight loss journey. I have heard from many of you about such changes in the mini topics I have been covering so not to worry you can still share these plans today. I still want you to tell us what your big plans are for creating the best version of yourself LONG TERM! 🙂 I am really looking forward to hearing your comments!

My goals are to be more active and happy with my children. I am considering becoming a vegan once I reach my goal. I do have a long way to go as I have a lot to loose but I feel that completely changing my eating habits and the choice of food I have will help me to continue to feel how I’m feeling now on plan. I think being on this plan has made me realise how the food we choose to eat has such an impact not just on our weight but how we feel i.e lack of energy feeling miserable all the time.

The best version of myself is learning that I am worth it and it’s ok to listen to my needs, wishes and goals. I have always put other people before myself and yes it feels good to help others but all the while I have been neglecting myself and what I wanted as it always came back to me being selfish and feeling guilty. NY is helping me realise it’s ok to put me first sometimes and this is one area of my life I’ve taken control off and omg it’s the best feeling in the world! I have a long way to go but hey life’s a journey and not a race, and I’m just starting to enjoy the ride!:))

I’ve spent so many years battling with myself- you’re fat, you need to lose weight, actually you are ok you’re not that big stop being so hard on yourself.., oh my word I wish I could wear a bikini! I better get back on the diet when I get home and so on and so on. My ability to commit was my biggest issue but after seeing The New You Plan popping up daily on facebook I began thinking why not.Yes it is a rigid plan but that’s what I need and yes the thought of being able to lose more weight more quickly does sound pretty great.

The truth is I want a baby and being a PCOS sufferer my fertility is majorly affected by excess weight. Of course there’s also the desire to just look good too but for me weight loss goes a little further than just looking good.

I don’t want to have something else in my life to make me feel inferior- being a chubby child and teen did enough of that. For me- creating the best version of myself starts with me losing weight and getting healthier but I believe the most rewarding aspect will be creating a ‘new’ version of myself in the form of a little baby that will grow up healthy with a healthy mum who can teach them the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and hopefully protect them from the ridicule and isolation I suffered for not fitting in with the rest of the group.

everyone wants to be the best they can and I’m no different. It’s important to make big changes to see big changes and my husband has been so supportive- it really has been a case of out with the old and in with the new in our kitchen cupboards. There’s no point having temptation staring at you every time you open the cupboard so they are now filled with healthy low calorie options. My husband has also helped me to design a lovely bright inspiring poster for the kitchen door which has our daily meal plan on it and we’ve also added in 30 minutes of exercise on 4 days of the week just to make sure we are tackling this commitment from all directions 🙂

I believe in myself, my husband believes in me and therefore I believe I can create the most amazing and happy version of myself by implementing The New You Plan into my life and gaining everything I’ve ever wanted : So Happy!

Creating the best version of myself would be recognising that I am a person in my own right! I give alot to people which I love but I have neglected myself. This plan is making me realise that I am important and that if I am happy with me, it will have a knock on effect with others.
I want to foster long term and at the other end of the spectrum start horse riding again- I know I can achieve this. I am on the road to my goals and I know that each day I achieve on this plan I become stronger. 🙂 xx

The best version of me is someone who is happy in their own skin, able to keep up with the kids, able to look good in a pair of skinny jeans, can say no to bad foods, stick to a healthy diet with occasional treats…the list goes on. That version of me is so close….hopefully I will be there by Christmas thanks to New You 😉 x

Since I started this diet I have gone from 15.3 to 12.3 and feeling on top of the world to letting a stupid argument with someone let me sabotage all my hard work and go back up to 13.9 in only a few weeks so my goal for me is to get to my goal weight of 10. 7 stone and keep it.. I’m finally learning that I need to focus on myself and my family and not to worry about others that like to see you fail, which I seem to have quite a few of those so I have stepped away from them already. I plan to join a gym after Xmas so i know if I’m paying for it il have to use it and enjoy life.

My long term goal is to never go back to the old, sore, slow, obese, creaky, sad me. I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror any more, I hid away from people ashamed of my appearance and was always tired and grumpy. Now I am 2 stone away from my goal, finishing up my 2 weeks of refeed and I will be back 100% until I am happy, fun loving, funny, full of life me again..

My goal is to loose weight untill I feel comfortable in my own body to get my confidence back to have nice clothes to be able to run about with my grandchildren to take my 13 year old son swimming hes always asking to go to the local water park but I always make excuses and most of all and this might not seem a big deal to some people but for my boobs to shrink I have been self conscious about them for years xx

My long term goal is to feel content with my self image and have a healthier relationship with food. I want to feel confident & show my boys that if they set their hearts and minds on something it is possible to succeed! Xx

    • Author gravatar

My long term goal is being happy in my own body and being healthy and active with my children. Even now while doing shopping or cooking for the family I am already making healthier choices- telling them they are not having takeaway as its full of fat etc etc and I shall just cook instead, so actually their diet has improved as well. Doing this diet and giving myself small goals puts the focus back on me- usually I am the last down the pecking order but I now am putting myself first and enjoying becoming slimmer and enjoying the compliments that go with it. I know I have a long way to go but each night I go to sleep knowing I have given the plan 100% effort is such an achievement.

My long term goals are to stay slimmer (once I get there) and to get fitter. This diet has also taught me that I do have will power and can control with ease what I eat. So another long term goal would be to believe in myself always – it has given me back my self esteem – I know I can do it. Even my children have noticed and commented on how much happier I am, so my third goal would be to enjoy life more, relax and continue to believe in myself – thank you New You!

I am feeling so much healthier and looking to just improving as each week pasees by…..and each pound disapears. xxx

Being the best version of me would be realising that Life is not a race and to slow down and appreciate what I have and NEW YOU has helped me think this way – for example when i blipped before when dieting or didn’t lose what I thought was enough weight I would be unhappy BUT now I appreciate every lb I lose or don’t lose and realise that it is all a journey .Thank you NEW YOU !

    • Author gravatar

My long term goal is to reach my goal weight ie ideal/healthy weight, to stop and think about how I got there (a reflection on my journey ) and then reward myself by never ever letting myself get overweight again 🙂

    • Author gravatar

just realised I been posting on wrong week lol must be losing brain cells with my fat x started at obese class 2 now obese class 1 cant wait to be overweight good luck slimmers x

My long term goal is to get down to and maintain a healthy BMI. I have battled with my weight all of my adult life. NY will give me the simplest and quickest way to lose my weight. For me the biggest challenge is to maintain a healthy BMI. For me simply eating healthly doesn’t work i still pile on the pounds with the smallest portions.

I need to take my final refeed really slowly, increasing my exercise so that I can find the point where I can maintain my weight. Sadly 2000 calories a day will never be a realistic daily intake. My body seems to store the merest sniff of a carb! So long term my meals will be planned around mostly veg and protein.

I also need to take the time to plan ahead the weeks family meals, rather than grab things that are quick and easy when I’m tired because they tend to be carbs.

I also plan to put myself first for a change rather than constantly putting everone else first and never having time for me. The healthy me, will then be fit enough to keep up with looking after my family 🙂

my short term goal was to change my mindset and way of thinking about food……this has been achieved (im craving salads!!!)
my longterm goal is to keep it that way!
also to be more organised and shop the right way,eat small regular portions and to understand that food is an experience that is to better my health and wellbeing…not just fuel or comfort…..(this im working on)
and also to view healthy lifestyle choices such as exercise as something i am lucky to be able to do and not a chore!!!….this is something im working on.
longterm goals are really about relearning and appreciating myself and my good fortune!
