I make myself a nice cup of hot tea (black with sweetener) and scroll through the facebook photos to see before and after shots. I also scroll through the page for support to see that I am not on my own.

When im having a weak momemt i make a coffee for myself then i log on to secret slimmers:)
To be honest its this group that keep me going.. Reading all the sucess stories that get logged every day is the golden key i need to keep me strong and motivated:)
I was having a bad day recently on my 1st week on plan… I was really craving Carbs that day i got online and expressed my feelings… The responses were so quick and it made me smile reading comments that did help me to stay on plan:)
So here i am 15 days later..12lbs lighter..halfway to my goal so quickly!!
Without the group i’d have fallen of the bus to Slimville:)
This is what gets me trough my weakest moments

I am at the stage now where , when i get a weak moment or struggle through – i go try on clothes in my ” slim ” box of clothes .the clothes in the box are rapidly going down as they are moved into my wardrobe to wear NOW 🙂 .
i also troll through the SS page , seeing all the achievements of my SS family is inspirational and very motivational . certainly gets me through any struggle. xx

Thank you so much for all the support Melody 🙂 That is an awesome way to be inspired. Your next milestone can be purchasing a new wardrobe for all the extra clothes and making a trip down to donate all the old ones you will never wear again 🙂

Black coffee takes away any hunger pangs – which I know are just in my head!! Scrolling through the amazing before and after photos on FB definitely helps. I have an event I am going to in November and am determined to wear a dress without feeling like I look like black wheelie bin!! My mantra now is “think of the dress, think of the dress, think of the dress”. I haven’t got the dress yet so that’s another little treat – shopping in a shop that doesn’t stock size XXL

Fantastic Rachel, I cant wait to see pics of the dress in the group (hint hint). I know you are going to knock em’ flat at the event. ‘Think of the dress’ – think of the feeling you are going to get. Powerful words and thank you for the support!

I just log on toy my computer and spend time looking through peoples success. Which keeps me motivated. There is a lot to read and see. Not sure maybe because i am new, i am fixed on the information.

I completely agree Caroline and it is really exciting when you see someone who has the same road to travel as you in terms of goal weight loss and has faced the same problems. Feel free to leave comments on their blogs as I have had many people come back to me thanking me still for the ongoing comments. It can be hard for people to share their story and it makes me so so proud being able to share them! Thanks for the support and good luck.

I have a licorice tea for a sugar boost, go for a nice walk to clear my head and have a nice Lush bath to relax with some nice relaxing music. 🙂

Distraction distraction and motivation….make a cuppa hot rasp…try on something that your trying to get into!!! EVEN leave the house for a spin if your in danger of losing sight of what you want the label or the scales to say!!! Get outta the situation until you can trust that you’ll make the right decision xxx

So true Sarah, it is so important to be able to remove yourself from a situation that is not working and which you feel you have no control over. Being able to regroup and go back fighting is always the best way to achieve your goals. If you are not able to be present in the moment then the moment controls you. Thanks for the support Sarah and good luck but at this point I don’t think you need luck you have the mindset 😉

I look at The secret slimmers page. It’s wonderful, reading what people have achieved and how they cope. Then I browse the internet for all the nice clothes I will be able to wear. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

well so far I am drinking lots of fizzy water and scrolling through all the amazing content on the secret slimmers facebook page and new you page 🙂 I did a VLCD diet once before many years ago and remember how difficult the first few days are, so glad I have some support and motivation 🙂
